Quality of hair is acheived when the structural intregrity of the hair is both respected and enhanced. This requires detailed knowledge of the chemistry of hair.

Kinney Systems offers several options for improving the overall quality of your hair.

   

With both of our Models the need was

for strengthening the hair, as each had lost strength and shine.

We began by having them both use an at home

shampoo with customized levels of the approiate proteins for stopping breakage

and then adding body.

With just one cycle each we then moved on to at home products

which were adjusted to their imporved condition

yet still providing shine and strength.

Our first model was struggling with over blonding which will always

prevent shine and richness with contrast; So in her case we pre colored her hair

with an approiate golden light blond

 we then added medium copper brown lowlights, along with dark blond gold lowlights.

Sandys high percentage of gray

was washing out her natural skin tone,  

by adding

an almost black color to her hair we could add depth of tone to her skin.

By applying color in this precise application Sandy's color will not show grow out for up to 6 months, possible at all.

Her style is blown out then finishing paste is added for texture.

Sandy's look allows her to wash and go. Because Perry cut her hair with a straight edge razor with no guard, her texture really presents itself.

By using smoothing products at the start on wet hair then pulling each section of hair out while applying heat at the base. Then adding a paste for texture.  To see her color after 3 months of growth

The process includes a Demineralization to remove unwanted mineral buildup caused by hard water. Detailed sectioning of wafer thin slices prevent high contrast grow out lines. Finally Molecular proteins for shine and strength are applied to lock in color and polish the hair.

  

Gray Reduction is the optimum technique when the desired goal is to reduce the amount of gray the client wants to see. But not all of it. It does not require monthly retouches.

It can look natural even when done dramatically,

growing out gracefully each time.

Nicole  

 

On the Bias Deminitial color is the base for this approach.

 We began with restoring Med Blond as her back ground color. Then added intentionally

placed low lights of Amber, 

and Golden Brown,

and finally to draw the eyes we placed Copper Orange..just a few small pieces for pop.

 First we Demineralized Nicoles Hair to remove unwanted mineral buildup caused by hard water.

Then we reconstructed Nicole's hair

to give needed strength and shine

 
         

To add spunk to short hair Perry off set the layers of this short layer cut

by over direction especially in the fringe or bang area.

To update Nicoles color Extremely light highlights are added to the color design.

The precise application of these highlights add to the impact of the look

while the placement of each color will prevent a grow out line for quite some time

Nicoles hair was reinforced with a intercellular protein and then glazed for rich tonal value matching her skin.

  Rachael 

First we demineralize for shine and tone. Also to remove unwanted mineral build up from hard water.

Then we powerdose maximizes the hairs quality.

Next Perry updated Rachaels look with a Guard free razor cut.

Allowing the design to move freely while styling with ease.

                    

   

 

Perry then included the forward trend cut you see below. It includes

disconnected long layers which offer a unique style when suitable for the wearer.

Shapes supporting the design ;  Freeing the wearer from unnecessary work dressing the hair, time spent with her young children, and styling their hair.  Her natural color is the result of detail to condition, natural hues with supporting proteins. This updated shag offers asymmetry in the weight of the cut, a modern twist on an old favorite.

 

 

 

 
The Idea is simple really, design the hair cut and color so it can be worn with it's natural curl or straightened. It has to be soft, but also interesting so we add dark brown low light for contrasting effect. not the same old thing. surprising tones found by the movement of the hair. Depth for dimention, tone for shine.
